Ambient Intelligence Inc. (“Ambient Intelligence,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a Minneapolis-based medical technology company. We operate the marketing website at ambienthealthgroup.com, internal engineering surfaces at eng., device., cloud., security., reg., agentic., algorithm., design., lab., and capital. subdomains, and the Ella clinical application at ellamemory.com. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information collected through the marketing website only. Clinical data is governed by separate notices.

2. Information we collect on this site

When you visit ambienthealthgroup.com we collect standard web server data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, the page you arrived from, the pages you visit, and the time of each request. This information is collected to operate, secure, and improve the site.

When you contact us via email or a form, we receive whatever information you choose to provide (typically name, email address, organization, and the contents of your message). We use this information to respond to your inquiry.

We do not collect protected health information (PHI) on this marketing website. PHI handling for the Ella application is described in the Ella Privacy Notice and governed by HIPAA Business Associate Agreements.

3. Cookies and analytics

This site uses Vercel Web Analytics, which collects aggregate page-view data without storing personal identifiers in cookies. We do not use third-party advertising trackers, social media pixels, or session-replay tools on this site.

Internal engineering subdomains may set authentication cookies necessary to operate those surfaces. Those subdomains are not intended for public access.

4. How we use information

We use the information collected on this site to operate the site, respond to your inquiries, understand how the site is used, and detect or prevent abuse. We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

5. Data retention

Server logs are retained for 30 days for security and operational diagnostics. Email correspondence is retained as long as needed to maintain a record of our communications with you or to comply with legal obligations. Contact us if you would like a copy or deletion of correspondence we hold.

6. Security

This marketing site is hosted on Vercel with TLS 1.3 encryption in transit. Our internal infrastructure follows the controls documented in our pre-IRB Security Audit, including AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, KMS-encrypted storage, IAM least-privilege access, and audit logging through CloudTrail. The full clinical security posture is described in our SaMD cybersecurity documentation submitted with the IRB review.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete information we hold about you, to object to or restrict its processing, and to receive a copy of it in a portable format. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below. We will verify your identity before acting on any request.

If you are a resident of a facility using the Ella application, your rights with respect to your protected health information are governed by HIPAA and your facility's Notice of Privacy Practices.

8. Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Our clinical product is intended for use in long-term care facilities serving adult residents.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our product, our team, or applicable law evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by updating that date.
